Student Registration : Terms and Conditions


I Tuition and payment method:

  • All lessons will be conducted online using the Zoom classroom. The duration of each lesson can be 1hr / 1.5hr / 2hr.
  • Once students are registered with us, they will receive a unique reference number. Parents are required to add money to the account (min. of £50 for the 1st time ; min. of £20 for the subsequent addedness). After that, parents can book a lesson with our Tutors (applied to different subjects). Once the balance of the accounts are below £30, the parents will receive invoices to add money for the further booking of lessons.
  • For instance, a Year-10 student is registered to have GCSE Math tutorials and 1hr for each lesson. His parents added £100 into his account and after completing 3 lessons, the balance of his account is £100 - 3 x £25 = £25. His parents will then receive an invoice to add money to his account and he will be able to book further lessons after the payment.
  • Once students are registered with us, parents will receive invoices stating the amount to be paid and the payment methods.
  • Unless we cannot provide any further tutors to you, the amount added to the student accounts are not refundable.

II Lesson Arrangement

  • Once we have new students registered with us, we will carry out matching with students with a Tutor who registered with us, according to Tutors’ availability. Once the parent confirms the matching, we will consult Tutors with the lesson time. In general case, we would be able to provide the lesson schedule 2 weeks in advance and inform both Students and Tutors.
  • Once the lesson schedule is confirmed, we will prepare a Zoom classroom and interactive Bitpaper for students and Tutors. The links will be sent to both students and tutors 1day in advance. We will be responsible for the subscription fees of Zoom and Bitpaper and both students and Tutors do not have to pay to use them.
  • Tutors and Students SHOULD enter the Zoom classroom and start lessons punctually. In case of students being late, Tutors will NOT postpone the lesson ending time but only will end the lesson according to schedule. This is to prevent any interference to the coming lessons. In the above said occasion, the lesson times will be counted as scheduled ones.

III Report of Absence

Students
  • If parents can foresee some of their unavailable dates, then parents should not book those dates. Therefore, it is uncommon that students need to revoke a scheduled lesson after their parents’ confirmation of the next 2 week schedule.
  • In case we receive any sick leave or urgent leave of the students from their parents, we will inform the Tutors ASAP and arrange remedial lessons.
